LISTRONG-17DST Intermediate wire drawing machine (copper)

After copper rod breakdown, the second stage for copper wire drawing process is intermediate copper wire drawing machine with continuous annealing devices. LISTRONG devote a lot of efforts to research and develop copper wire drawing machine with latest technology.

Q： Is the 17DST Intermediate wire drawing machine (copper) with continuous annealer?

A： Yes. Our Intermediate wire drawing machine (copper) offers the flexibilities to our customers. Online continuous annealing is an option. This machine can also co-operate with varieties of take-up machines, such as single spooler, dual spooler with auto changeover devices, and drop coiler.

Q： Common improper use in wire drawing process?

A：(1) excessive reduction of wire drawing, resulting in cracks or breakage of the drawing dies. Most of the crack or fracture is caused by the release of internal stress. Exist in any material structure, the internal stress is inevitable, internal stress which is caused by wire drawing could enhance microcrystalline structure of the die, but when reduction ratio is over large, the die can't timely lubricated and temperature rise too high, part of the die surface material will be removed and stress on microcrystalline structure will be increased greatly, making it easier to crack or break.

(2) The wire drawing axis and the center line of die hole are not symmetrical, resulting in uneven stress action on wire and die, while the impact of mechanical vibration will also cause high stress peak on wire and die, both of which will accelerate the wear of die.

(3) Due to non-uniform annealing, non-uniform wire hardness and other factors may easily cause premature fatigue damage of diamond wire drawing die, forming annular groove and aggravating die hole wear.

(4) Rough wire surface, oxide layer, sand soil or other impurities adheres to the wire surface, which will make the die wear faster. When the wire passes through the die hole, the hard and brittle oxide layer and other adhesion impurities will cause quick wear and abrasion of the die hole.

(5) Insufficient lubrication or lubricating oil contains metal debris and impurities, resulting in die wear. Poor lubrication will cause the surface temperature of the die rising too fast during wire drawing, then the diamond grain will fall off, resulting in mold damage. And It is very easy to scratch the surface of die and wire when the oil is not clean, especially when it contains metal fragments which fall off during drawing.
